Dr. Satish Reddy, MD
Medical Director | Board-Certified in Family Medicine
Dr. Satish Reddy serves as Medical Director of MRHS and brings extensive experience in primary care, urgent care, and integrative medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He completed a General Surgery internship at Rush Medical Center and a Family Medicine residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago.
Dr. Reddy is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. His clinical focus includes preventive care, men’s health, cardiovascular screening, and chronic disease management.
Dr. Reddy believes effective primary care is built on listening, education, and collaboration. Patients value his thorough evaluations, clear explanations, and collaborative approach to care.

Dr. Xequiel Hernandez, MD
Board-Certified in Family Medicine
Dr. Xequiel Hernandez provides comprehensive primary and family care. He earned his undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University and his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he also completed his residency.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and fluent in English and Spanish.

Ester Shavalian, PA
Physician Assistant | Primary Care & Women’s Health
Ester Shavalian, PA, provides preventive and primary care with a focus on women’s health and musculoskeletal concerns. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from UCLA and completed her Physician Assistant training at Touro University.
Her focus includes preventive medicine, women’s health, musculoskeletal evaluation, and trigger point therapy. Her patients describe her as warm, empathetic, and highly professional.

What should I bring to my first appointment?
To ensure a smooth check-in, please bring a valid photo ID, your current insurance card, and a list of any medications or supplements you are currently taking. If you have recent lab results or medical records from a previous provider, feel free to bring those as well.
How long do primary care visits typically last?
At MRHS, we believe in patient-centered care and do not rush our visits. A typical initial consultation or annual physical takes about 30 to 45 minutes to ensure your doctor has ample time to listen to your concerns and develop a comprehensive care plan.
Do you offer telehealth appointments?
Yes. For many routine follow-ups, medication management, and certain urgent concerns, we offer virtual visits so you can speak with your provider from the comfort of your home.
What is your cancellation policy?
We value your time and the time of our providers. We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another patient who may need urgent care.
Do you provide medical clearances for surgery or travel?
Yes. Our physicians provide pre-operative medical clearances and travel medicine consultations, including necessary vaccinations and health guidance for international travel.
Can I complete my Immigration Physical (USCIS I-693) at your clinic?
Yes, MRHS offers USCIS immigration physicals. Please call our office to schedule this specific type of exam, as it requires specific documentation and lab work.
How do I get a prescription refill?
For existing patients, refills can often be handled via our patient portal or by having your pharmacy send a request to our office. For new medications, or if it has been over a year since your last visit, an appointment may be required to ensure the treatment remains safe and effective for you.
What if my insurance is out-of-network?
If we are not in-network with your specific plan, we can provide you with a "super-bill" (a detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We also offer transparent self-pay rates for patients without insurance.
Are there labs on-site?
We coordinate closely with major laboratories like Quest and Labcorp and can draw blood on-site for many routine screenings during your physical exam to save you an extra trip.
Is your office wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Our Midtown Manhattan office is fully wheelchair-accessible, featuring elevator access and ADA-compliant facilities to support all patients.
How quickly can I see a doctor if I am sick?
