Understanding Your Visit: Preventive vs. Diagnostic care

Most insurance plans cover your annual physical at 100%. However, if you'd like to discuss a new medical concern or manage a chronic condition during that same visit, your insurer may view that as "diagnostic" or "problem-focused" care, which might trigger a copay. We’ll always do our best to explain how this works so there are no surprises on your statement.
