La Chelle Gopaul

“From the very first visit, they have been thorough, attentive, and genuinely caring. They take the time to listen to my concerns, explain things in clear and understandable language, and never make me feel rushed.”

Meet Your Downtown Primary Care Doctors

Our Downtown Manhattan team includes board-certified physicians and experienced physician assistants. They bring deep expertise in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and women’s health. Dr. Xequiel Hernandez, MD sees patients in English and Spanish, which matters on a block as multilingual as this one.

Patients tell us the same thing again and again. Our clinicians listen carefully, explain clearly, and give you the time the visit deserves.

Getting to Our Lower East Side Primary Care Office

Our office sits on Norfolk Street between Delancey and Broome, in the heart of the Lower East Side. Patients reach us easily from across Downtown Manhattan and from Brooklyn.

By subway, the Delancey St/Essex St station sits two blocks west and serves the F, M, J, and Z trains. The M14A and M15 buses run nearby, and the Williamsburg Bridge entrance sits a few blocks east at Delancey and Clinton, which puts Williamsburg about ten minutes away.

On-site parking is not available. Municipal and private garages operate within a few blocks along Broome and Delancey if you drive. Most patients find the train simpler at this hour of the morning.

The neighborhood gives you plenty to do before or after a visit. Essex Market sits a block away at 88 Essex Street with dozens of food vendors. Seward Park and Hamilton Fish Park are both a short walk. The Tenement Museum on Orchard Street sits five minutes away. Several pharmacies operate along Delancey and Grand, so you can fill a prescription the same day.

Traveling soon? Review the CDC destination guidance and book your travel clinic visit two to six weeks before you fly. We also complete the USCIS Form I-693 medical exam on site for green card applicants.
