Dr. Xequiel Hernandez, MD 

​Dr. Xequiel Hernandez leads comprehensive primary and family care services. He focuses on preventive medicine, ongoing health management, and building long-term patient relationships; he has additional specialized training in bariatrics and LGBTQIA+ care. 
 

He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
 

Dr. Xequiel Hernandez earned his undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University and received his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he also completed his residency training. He was previously head of Mt Sinai’s uptown LGBTQIA+ division.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
